… a new doll – a flower fairy – inspired by two dolls I made some years ago: Emmi Nilsdotter and Lale, the tulip girl.

I want to show you how long it takes and how many thoughts and sketches I spent on each of my dolls. And maybe you like to create your own special doll, too?

I think this doll shouldn’t have fixed clothes but should be almost naked (with cute little panties) with many, many beautiful dresses and skirts and blouses…

Not sure whether the hair is the blossom-head-part… or whether she should have hair plus an blossom…

She doesn’t even have a name so far – do you have a nice name for her?

Inspiration Sunday

When you open your eyes in the morning and hear the birds singing, the sun is waking the world with a warm kiss – then  you know that Spring is finally our guest for the next time.
And sunday is the perfect day to get inspired by all the wonders the Spring is giving us – so make this day your Inspiration Sunday!

Miss Mellowcloud left her little house by the lake on her Inspiration Sunday already early in the morning – to wander the meadows and look for the first butterflies.
She loves to write little poems about butterflies into her blue notebook.

Miss Allona Treefriend is living in the Black Forests near the Giant Mountain in a tiny little wooden house under a huge oak tree which is more than 500 years old. She lives there together with her best friend Gustav, the squirrel.

Miss Allona Treefriend and Gustav are always together – they never even take a single step without one another.
And what they love most of all is: They like to swim in the little lake around the corner near the oak at night in the moonlight – while the fireflies are buzzing through the air.

Every year when the spring is painting the plants and the leaves green her sister Anna Acorn – living pretty far away in the White Forest near the Grey Mountain – is visiting her to have a wonderful spring party.

Als ersten Test-Ballon gibt es das Lieblingskissen-Tutorial jetzt bei Amazon als eBook für deinen Kindle!

Ich bin ja absolute Kindle-Liebhaberin – und so gerne ich als lebenslange Bücher-Närrin an alten Papierseitenvon Antiquariats-Büchern schnüffle und meine Kinder in die Bücherei jage… so süchtig bin ich mittlerweile nach meinem Kindle und verlasse ohne nie das Haus :-)
Und damit es keinen Streit gibt, hat der Sohn mittlerweile seinen eigenen.

Es gibt ständig Anfragen von Verlagen, die aber irgendwie bisher noch nie ins Schwarze trafen (weitere Anfragen gerne willkommen!), also dachte ich schon länger über das Veröffentlichen im Selbstverlag nach.

Da kam der revoluzZzionäre Minister für revoluzzzionäres Marketing  auf die Idee (den gibt es mittlerweile tatsächlich): Es sollte Revoluzzzionäre eBooks für den Kindle geben! Dann kann man immerzu und überall revoluzzzionäre Nähprojekte beginnen!
Gesagt, getan!

Ich kann gar nicht sagen, wir gut uns das Frühlingswetter tut.
Man wacht morgens mit einem Lächeln auf, alles Lästige geht plötzlich doppelt so schnell, die Luft schmeckt süß und moosig und nach Leben und Wachstum und Gedeihen.
Und statt zu Laufen – möchte man ab und an einen kleinen Hüpfer tun :-)
Und auch wenn Ihr heute den Montag im Büro verbringen müsst – schnappt Euch doch einfach Euren Kollegen/Eure Kollegin und macht statt Mittagspause in der Kantine – einen gemeinsamen Spaziergang durch den nahegelegenen Park, als Mittagessen langt dann auch mal ein Apfel oder ein paar Möhren und eine Handvoll Nüsse vom Obst-Händler am Straßenrand :-)

In Germany we were waiting such a long time for Spring weather this year… that it’s arrival is making us more than happy!
All of a sudden you are waking up with a smile, feeling like you wanna dance.
The air smells sweet and fresh. All around you plants are growing and the brown and grey ground becomes green.

Even if you have to work inside today on this monday morning – skip your break in the lunchroom and have a walk with one of your co-workers in the nearby park – and simply enjoy being alive!

Endlich! / Finally!

Today we had a very long walk along the nearby forest – enjoying the sun and all the signs of spring: Butterflies, bees, spring flowers!
It’s like waking up after a very long sleep!

Heute sind wir stundenlang spazieren gegangen – entlang des nahegelegenen Wäldchens. Und haben uns an den jetzt endlich eindeutigen Frühlings-Anzeichen erfreut: den ersten Schmetterlingen, Bienen und Frühlingsblumen!
Und wir fühlten uns, als wären wir nach einem langen Schlaf endlich aufgewacht!
