A thought my daughter told recently – while she ate an apple:
” It’s no problem to swallow apple seeds. There is no soil inside the tummy so there is no chance that an apple tree starts to grow.
BUT: When you eat an apple and swallow an apple seed… you should NOT fall into a sandbox and accidentally swallow some sand and drink a lot of water afterwards… because then it could happen that an apple tree is growing in your tummy!”

Working on more Flower Fairy dolls – this one is Hani Hjärtegod.
She is a nice and funny girl who loves to sing and to work in the garden.
She lives with her sisters in a little red house surrounded by many, many flowers.
Every day Hani is walking with her watering can to the nearby lake – to bring water for all the flowers.
She has to go many times.
And as you can imagine, she is really tired every evening.
Sometimes one of her sisters is welcoming her with her favorite dish: Rice pudding with chocolate cream.

My daughter and I had a wonderful breakfast together this morning – and as we where alone we were thinking of all kinds of different stories, started to draw and craft.
Finally my daughter and I came up with a story of a little girl – Irma, who got a very special gift by her grandma: An old watch. The grandma told Irma, that she got this watch from her grandma and that grandma got it from her grandma and so on.
It’s a secret about that watch and one day something very special would happen…

… a new doll – a flower fairy – inspired by two dolls I made some years ago: Emmi Nilsdotter and Lale, the tulip girl.
I want to show you how long it takes and how many thoughts and sketches I spent on each of my dolls. And maybe you like to create your own special doll, too?
I think this doll shouldn’t have fixed clothes but should be almost naked (with cute little panties) with many, many beautiful dresses and skirts and blouses…
