Es wird langsam gruselig, Halloween steht vor der Tür. Und so wunderten wir uns gar nicht, als wir heute Besuch von 3 freundlichen Geistern bekamen – direkt aus dem Riesengebirge kamen sie angereist, erschreckten uns ein bisschen und reisten dann gleich weiter zu den SILBERFISCHERS.

It get’s more and more spooky, Halloween is getting nearer. And so we weren’d surprised that 3 friendly ghosts visited us today. They came from the Giant Mountains, scared us a bit and continued their journey to the SILBERFISCHERS.

RevoluzZza on the Cover-Page/RevoluzZza auf der Titelseite

Yesss – I have to admit that this really made me happy: The first time a RevoluzZza creature made it on the cover page from a magazine. And actually this magazine is one of the two most important city magazines in Berlin: Zitty. They have about 320.000 readers – and even better: You can see the cover page hanging all around the city on newsstands and so on. So I had to smile quite a bit recently when I was walking down the street and from time to time a RevoluzZza monster was passing by :-)

Ja – ich muss zugeben, dass mich das wirklich froh machte: Zum ersten Mal hat es ein RevoluzZza-Wesen auf die Titelseite einer Zeitschrift geschafft. Und diese Zeitschrift ist auch noch eine der beiden wichtigsten Berliner Stadtmagazine – die  Zitty – und hat pro Ausgabe ca. 320.000 Leser. Aber was noch besser ist: Die Titelseite der Zitty ist in der ganzen Stadt plakatiert und so konnte ich mir des öfteren ein Lächeln nicht verkneifen, wenn ich neben mir plötzlich ein RevoluzZza-Wesen auf der Straße sah :-)

But what I liked most about the whole thing is the title the journalists wrote inside of the magazine: „Pioneers of do-it-yourself. These Berlin people inventing the future of things.“ I LOVE that :-)

RevoluzZza in Seattle

Today you have again the chance to visit the amazing exhibition „Plush You!“ in Seattle. Masses of super special and super amazing plush creatures – all one-of-a-kind and of course handmade – are waiting to be seen and explored by you.

And RevoluzZza made three special works. Almost everybody loves vampires rigt now – and movies and shows like „Twilight“, „True blood“ and so on I decided to usw this topic for my work too. And so I created a vampire woman, her victim and her dangerous blood drinking assistant.

Pünktlich zum ersten Adventswochenende öffnet in Hamburg Altona eine „Frau Tulpe“-Filiale.

Das bedeutet: jede Menge tolle Bänder, Nähutensilien, Schnittmuster fernab von der üblichen Burda-Langeweile – und vorallem natürlich eine Stoffauswahl, die seinesgleichen sucht. Also freut Euch – Ihr Hamburger :-)

New Family Members /Neue Familienmitglieder (+ Shop Update)

During the summer we were pregnant (and I’m not unhappy that it was a really short pregnancy without any problems, no morning sickness, no strech marks on the tummy :-) ) and we gave birth to some absolutely new RevoluzZza creatures: The Shnoos. This Shnoo family is a bit strange and sometimes it’s really hard to imagine that a dangerous pirate monster guy could be the cousin of some cute bunny or mushroom kid – but that’s just how it is (and when you think about it – it’s just how families in real life are).

We will present you the Shnoo family one after another – today you’ll get to know the two cute bunny kids Mi Shnoo and Moo Shnoo. I’m not sure whether they are boys or girls – and they don’t want to tell me. So you have to find out yourself :-).
