RevoluzZzionäre Monster bei 9 1/2 Meter

912meter_ausstellung

Dabei waren:
Thomas Hollnack – Papiertiger
Florian Frick – Monsters Home
Smälli Karamelli – goyls
Stefan Dettmann – der knipserator
Anna Bittner – AB-art
Tino Schmidt
Janine Weinsten – JaNein design
Justyna Linkert

Oh, what a day…

… YES! It’s PLUSH YOU DAY!

Didn’t you know that? Well, if you didn’t and you are in or near Seattle: You have to find out. Because today is the day when Seattle – once again – is taken over by beautiful, strange, sweet, scary… just amazing plush creatures.

It’s the day when the one and only Plush You! Show starts:

„Plush You! opens for the sixth year at Schmancy, Nancy and Fancy in downtown Seattle! Plush You! is an annual exhibit featuring over 100 plush artists from around the globe.

The opening reception attracts fans from around the world and is the best party we have all year! Hundreds come out to enjoy the plush creations ranging from the cute to the creepy. The work featured in this show attracts adults and kids alike and shows a whole new world of stuffed art.

Please join us for the opening reception on October 8th from 5:00 to 9:00pm. The show runs for a month, ending on November 11th. This year, Plush You! will be featured in Seattle Magazine!

YAY come join us! „

Where:
Schmancy
1932 2nd Ave
Seattle, WA
And of course you will find some RevoluzZzionary creatures there too (already the third time)!
Two absolutely brand new members of the RevoluzZza family:

Frida Fox and her adoptive child George Goose who she saved from her neighbour’s pan – a sad and thrilling story with a very happy ending (including a bike race, 1000 crocodiles, a pink river and Justin Timberlake – yes, he is always everywhere…). You really should invite Frida and George and let them tell the story, it’s worth it. Make sure that you have a cup of hot chocolate for the boy and a hot milk with a bit Amaretto for the mom – that’s making them talkative.

and one of the RevoluzZzionary Christmas elfs:
Tomte, the Christmas Wichtel (a Wichtel is something like a little dwarf or elf who brings the children their Christmas gifts in Northern Europe). And to say thank you to thelittle Christmas Wichtel for thenice presents the childrencook a Christmas porridge (because this is Christmas Wichtel ‘s favorite food)und put it near the front door where the Wichtel will findit when people are asleep.

Tomte is a bit early this year but only because he overslept the last 3 Christmas celebrations and wanted to be sure to be right on time this year.

RevoluzZza in Seattle

Today you have again the chance to visit the amazing exhibition „Plush You!“ in Seattle. Masses of super special and super amazing plush creatures – all one-of-a-kind and of course handmade – are waiting to be seen and explored by you.

So if you are in Seattle today, you have to go to:

Schmancy
1932 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA, 98101

Fancy
1914 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA, 98101

Nancy
1932 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA, 98101

(as much as I understood they needed 3 locations because the show is so huge this year! I really wish I could be there!)

And RevoluzZza made three special works. Almost everybody loves vampires rigt now – and movies and shows like „Twilight“, „True blood“ and so on I decided to usw this topic for my work too. And so I created a vampire woman, her victim and her dangerous blood drinking assistant.

Say hello to the dangerous vampire lady Apollinariya, her blood thirsty assistant Adrik and their innocent victim: Agnessa

RevoluzZionary Girls in L.A. / RevoluzZzionäre Mädels in L.A.

After a long, long journey they all finally arrived: „Charlotte’s Angels“ and „Cats and the City“ (I will write something about the Cats soon and show some more photos) – and they all love Los Angeles :-)
You can see them now in the gallery Ghetto Gloss and you also can buy them there soon.

Charlotte’s Angels in L.A.

Yay, the Super Plush show is just over – and my missing dolls arrived In L.A. :-)
Well, it’s a good thing that DHL didn’t really lose them – but just couldn’t find them for some time.

I learned that I will NEVER ever use DHL again. The worst thing wasn’t the fact that they couldn’t find my package that was send in a special and expensive way – the worst thing was the way they dealt with the problem. It was literally as if their left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing and everyone blamed someone else and so on.

Anyway – they will be shown at Ghetto Gloss and will also be available at their shop. So everything will still be fine.
And here they are: My Charlotte’s Angels!

The theme for the L.A. show was „Creatures“ – and because the show took part in L.A. I thought it would be a nice idea to create creatures which remind in some way of popular TV shows; like (I guess you already realized the connection :-) ) : Charlie’s Angels.
Charlotte’s Angels are the revoluzZzionary 2008 version of the pretty patriarchic original version from the 70s (no, I’m not going to make this an feminist issue :-) ). They are still very pretty, they are cool – and they don’t need a mysterious sugar daddy telling them what to do. So forget about Charlie – here are Charlotte’s Angels:

They will be soon available at the Ghetto Gloss shop. More photos: here.

Also: Vergeßt Charlie – hier sind Charlottes Engel.
